Help & support
How can we help?
For venues
- Is this an app I need to download?
- No, there's nothing to install. You get your own live booking page with a link you can share anywhere.
- Do I need to know how to code?
- No. You just share your booking page link, or add it as a plain link or button on your own website.
- Do I need Google Calendar to use WedHQ?
- No. WedHQ works either way. If you connect Google Calendar, we'll automatically block times you're already busy elsewhere. If you don't have one, you can block dates manually in your settings instead, and creating a free Google Calendar just for this takes about two minutes if you'd like it fully automated later.
- Why does WedHQ limit photos to 8?
- We keep it simple on purpose. A booking page works best when a couple can quickly get a feel for your venue and lock in a tour time, not scroll through a full portfolio. Eight photos is enough to show your space clearly without overwhelming them. If someone wants to see more before they book, they can always visit your own website for the full gallery. WedHQ's job is to make booking a tour effortless, capture the lead, and get you in front of couples quickly, not replace your main marketing pages.
- What if I don't use Google Calendar?
- You can set your weekly tour availability manually instead, right from your dashboard.
- Can I use Outlook or Apple Calendar instead of Google Calendar?
- Not yet. Right now WedHQ syncs with Google Calendar, or you can set your availability manually and upload blocked dates from a spreadsheet. Support for Outlook and Apple Calendar is planned for a future rollout, and how soon it arrives will depend on how many venues ask for it. If that's you, email us at hello@wedhq.com.au and we'll add you to the list.
- What happens when a couple books a tour?
- You get an email notification and, if you've connected Google Calendar, it's added to your calendar automatically. The couple gets their own confirmation email.
- Will this connect to my CRM?
- Not automatically right now. The booking notification email is how you'd copy a couple's details into your CRM, the same as you would with any other enquiry today.
- How many tour bookings can I take each month?
- Starter includes up to 20 tour bookings a month, Signature up to 50 a month, and Premium is unlimited. If you reach your cap, bookings pause until the next month or an upgrade, but enquiries always keep coming through — couples can still send you a message from your page, so you don't lose the lead. Your count resets automatically at the start of each calendar month, and upgrading gives you the extra room straight away.
- What's the free trial?
- 60 days free, card required, first payment after your trial ends, cancel anytime before then.
- What if my card payment fails?
- Your booking page stays live for 7 days with a warning so you can update your card. It only goes offline after that if it's still unresolved.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Monthly plan: You can cancel anytime, with no lock-in contract. You’ll keep using the plan for the rest of the billing period you’ve already paid for; there’s no refund because you simply use out what you paid for. Annual plan: You can also cancel anytime, but there’s no refund or credit for the unused part of the annual period. Cancelling only stops the plan from renewing next year.
- How much does it cost?
- Starter A$99/month or A$990 yearly, Signature A$149/month or A$1,490 yearly, and Premium A$249/month or A$2,490 yearly. Each annual option works out to about two months free.
- Where is WedHQ available?
- WedHQ is launching in Victoria first, with New South Wales and the rest of Australia to follow.
- Do I need a separate plan for each venue?
- Yes. Each plan covers one venue, including its own bookings, calendar, clients and settings. If you run more than one venue, you would take out a plan for each one. We're also working on options for venue groups, so if you manage multiple venues, get in touch at hello@wedhq.com.au and we'll be glad to talk through what works best for you.
- Can I use WedHQ for events other than weddings?
- WedHQ is made for wedding venues and the couples who book them, so everything is designed around that experience. If your venue also hosts other events, such as corporate functions or private celebrations, block out the date and time in your calendar. You can choose a specific time range or use the All Day option to block the whole date, and couples won't be able to book over it.
- Can you set up my page for me?
- Yes, if you'd rather we build it for you, email us at hello@wedhq.com.au with your request and we'll get your page ready to go for you (a setup fee applies.)
- What happens to my payment if I switch plans partway through a billing cycle?
- You're only ever charged or credited the prorated difference for the days remaining in your current cycle, never for days you've already paid for. The change takes effect immediately, whether you're upgrading or downgrading.
For couples
- Do I need to create an account to book a tour?
- No, just pick a time and enter your details.
- Will I get a reminder?
- You'll get a confirmation email straight away with the details of your tour.
- Can I ask a question instead of booking straight away?
- Yes, every venue's page has a simple enquiry form for that.
